Welcome to Dr. Mergenthaler GmbH & Co. KG in Ulm (Germany)

Our company was established in 1991 as the sole proprietorship known as Dr. Mergenthaler Apparatebau.
Our area of activity is in the field of pyrometry, laser technology and process automation.

In the beginning, the focus was especially on measuring applications.
The first LASCON control system was already delivered to a reputable company in 1998. We have installed more than 500 such units to date worldwide.

We completed converting the company into Dr. Mergenthaler GmbH & Co. KG in 2004. Seven people are employed in the meantime in more than 4,300 sq.ft. of office and production space.

Today, Mergenthaler delivers worldwide laser components and complete semi automatic laser work stations to start production. Process evaluation is done in our fully equiped laser laboratory.
